Our Story

We are a family driven by a deep passion for coffee — a love that has crossed generations like an invisible thread, weaving together memories, aromas, and stories. Our journey in this world began with my great-grandparents, who around 1820 started growing coffee in the town of Antônio Dias, Minas Gerais.

Today, more than two centuries later, my parents, Dinho and Angela, carry on that legacy with the same care, respect, and dedication.
I grew up surrounded by this universe. I carry vivid memories with me: the shine of freshly picked coffee cherries, the crackle of the roasting process, the ritual of grinding the beans, and above all, the aroma of fresh coffee brewing — a scent that feels like a warm embrace for the soul.

As a child, the kitchen was my favorite place in the house. On the table,
almost like a sacred altar, there was always a full bottle of coffee and a
piece of fresh cheese. Walking by meant taking a little pause: a bite of
cheese, a sip of coffee… a simple ritual that became tradition and has stayed with me ever since.

Time passed. I got married, became a mother, and coffee time remained a sacred moment. My husband, Alan, who once didn’t even enjoy coffee, now can’t imagine life without it. Nothing delights me more than setting a beautiful table filled with cakes, pastries, and savory treats, inviting family and friends, and turning a simple cup of coffee into a connection — into laughter, warmth, and joy. To me, that is happiness. That is living well.

From this passion, Dulce Grano Coffee House was born — the union of my love for coffee with the Italian flavors of the Gatti family. We dreamed of creating a cozy space where everyone could slow down, talk, savor, and collect meaningful moments. A place for coffee lovers… and for those who love life.

It’s a pleasure to meet you: we are the Gatti family — and coffee is our way of celebrating the world.
